Wow, a new year already!! I've been so busy and having
so much fun I haven't had time to updat my page, sorry! So here's what's been going on with me.
Throughout the summer I went to a whole bunch of day camps.
We did all kinds of neat stuff like crafts, games, sports, story time and my personal favorite: SNACK! I especially
liked all the sing-alongs, because most of them involved signs and actions. I always remembered all the actions for
every song. One day camp that we went to at the Bradford Christian Reform Vaction Bible School had lots of time for
singing. There were lots of kids, but I always got to be up at the front with one of the group leaders to remind everyone
which actions to do with every song. I made lots of really cool friends and we see some of them sometimes at the pool
and other places we still visit.
We spent a lot of time at the public pool because I love swimming.
We went swimming at home a lot in the summer, but now that's it's cold we go to the public pool again. I'm a really
good swimmer, and I love to jump in the deep end and swim to the wall. I discovered that my favorite part about the
public pool though is the water slide. It's hard to be patient while the other kids in line go down, but once it's my
turn I'm always really good about not running up the stairs and waiting my turn for when the lifeguard says I can go down
the slide.
School has been fun too (well, as fun as school can be!).
My Christmas holiday was spent with both my families and we had tons and tons of fun. My birthday was just 2 days before
Christmas and I had a super cool birthday party. We went to Splashy's, which is a place where they have an indoor swimming
pool in one part, and a really huge climber in another part. The climber is kinda like a McDonald's playplace, only
for bigger kids like me. We went there a few times over the break and I loved it.
Check out my new picture pages and the rest of the site, and
please sign my guestbook so I know you were here.
Love,
Emily
